How to play
The deck has 36 cards, six through ace. Each player starts with six. The face-up bottom stock card sets trump; the lowest dealt trump starts the first attack.
Defend with a higher card of the same suit, or a trump against a non-trump. The attacker may add cards matching any rank already on the table, up to six and no more than the defender held at the start of the attack.
The defender may take. The attacker can add matching cards before finishing the pickup. A successful defense discards the table and makes the defender the next attacker. After a pickup, the same attacker attacks again.
Refill the attacker first, then defender, to six. The face-up trump is drawn last. With stock exhausted, the bout must finish before determining who is out. Both out is a draw. This version has no transfer attacks or trump-six exchange.
Seats and spectators
Configure each other seat when creating a table. Waiting human seats delay the deal until filled. AI seats allow human takeover by default: open Watch, then Join seat. You inherit the current position and hand. AI only keeps the computer in that seat.
Beginner strategy
- Consider what the other players can play before committing your strongest piece or tile.
- Use the highlighted legal moves, and keep an eye on the current player and score.
