How to play
Set the round’s engine aside and deal fifteen tiles each. Play one matching tile on your own train, the shared Mexican train, or another player’s marked open train.
If you cannot play, draw one tile. Play it if possible; otherwise pass and mark your train open. Playing on your own train closes its marker.
A double must be covered on that same train before any other train can be played. The double’s player continues; if they cannot cover it, draw or pass and the next player must try. Only one outstanding double is allowed in this version.
Going out ends the round, including a last-tile double. All players blocked with no stock also ends it. Remaining pips are penalties; double blank counts fifty. The next starter rotates clockwise, and chooses Next round to deal. This version uses one tile on the first turn and allows the public train to start whenever its engine is matched.
Seats and spectators
Configure each other seat when creating a table. Waiting human seats delay the deal until filled. AI seats allow human takeover by default: open Watch, then Join seat. You inherit the current position and hand. AI only keeps the computer in that seat.
Beginner strategy
- Consider what the other players can play before committing your strongest piece or tile.
- Use the highlighted legal moves, and keep an eye on the current player and score.
